Bertram Pollock
The Rt Rev Bertram Pollock, KCVO[1], DD was an Anglican Bishop in the first half of the 20th century.[2]
Born on 6 December 1863 he was educated at Charterhouse and Trinity College, Cambridge.[3] Ordained in 1890.[4] he was a Master and Chaplain at Marlborough and later Headmaster of Wellington College (1893-1910). An Honorary Chaplain to the King he was elevated to the Episcopate as Bishop of Norwich in 1910,[5] a post he held for 32 years. An eminent author, he died on 17 October, 1943.[6]
